...just wait, believe, and you will receive!

Waiting is sometimes the most boring and stressful act. And yet, we do it almost every minute of everyday.
And as I write this, I am sharing with you how I started to love it.

When I was a little girl, I wanted to grow faster and go to school and be independent - but as my parents would say, you have to WAIT!

During my high school years, I was hoping that the clock ticks really quick - but our teacher says, "Four years is not that long, time flies really fast that your high school days may be over with just a blink of an eye. Right now, you have to WAIT, you turn is coming very soon".

College years came and it was another four years of waiting. I told myself, "Survive this, and it is over. Give yourself a pat on the back, because you did a good job!"

BUT I WAS WRONG! REALLY WRONG!

Waiting is endless, it is a cycle that goes on and on!

My real waiting started when I was ready to conquer the world as a professional. I walked, I searched, I hoped until I found what I have been looking for. And I was happy! But all things last.

And again - the waiting begun!

When I stumbled on this quote by Elisabeth Elliot which says:
"I realized that the deepest spiritual lessons are not learned by His letting us have our way in the end, but by His making us wait, bearing with us in love and patience until we are able to honestly to pray what He taught His disciples to pray: Thy will be done."

 And then I understand!

If you want something in your life, you don't have to skip steps. You sincerely ask for it, you seek, you believe, but most importantly you learn how to WAIT. For God only knows when is the right time to grant what you asked for.

If you waited long enough, you don't have to complain.

Continue to WAIT, BELIEVE and for sure you will RECEIVE!

And it really feels good to receive what you have been asking for at the right moment.

And for sure you will say - it was really worth the WAIT.

  1. Waiting may be a silent torture but it's a wonderful test of patience and humility to surrender to God's will.WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE BIG SHOES FIT!=)

  2. ...it is indeed a silent torture but when it's finally over and you received what your hearts desire you'll definitely be the most happy person alive.
